it's been about a month since my last entry. one for jan D: boo hoo.

so during jan, i've managed to get straighter hair YAY! using a hair straightener and the new herbal essence shampoo. I LOVE THAT SHAMPOO.

funny thing is that i'm wearing the exact same top now.

in the current month, i'll be doing so many things. It's exciting and yet scary with so many teachers constantly reminding us of Os. its a long list of dance practices, science practicals, guides, getting my new speccies (i'm am sho excited!), my class camp and a couple of things i forgot.

It's a New Year!

Let's all welcome the new year 2009 with golly good fun, laughter, happiness, joys and tears.

This year like all other occasions my family celebrated on the eve with friends. We had a teppanyaki which is japanese grill and chinese steamboat with vietnamese desserts. YUM!

I ate tons and had a mountain of fun which filled me with warm snuggly goodness.

Just for fun and the joys of the New Year, I decided to take some mug shots and photos with a ribbon on my head that used to be on a fruit basket (frubara, LOL.)

Despite being a rather bad girl throughout the year God has still blessed me. On Christmas Eve at night, my family hosted a party with some friends and family. It was really nice but I think I could be a better host :\ Bahh, it's over anyway.

I went for midnight mass wit my dad and mom (my bro went with his friend on christmas day) before bro joined us for the town lights. I adored the candy and ribbon decorations. Gorgeous.

Been watching Friends everyday at 8. Boy is it funny :D I'm gonna bug my mom to rent series 1 for me tomorrow then while everybody is going all adult-'ish' on me, I can just crash and burn in my room with whoever wants to join me. Ha ha. Got to clean up my room first.

Recently, I wonder what people are so busy with. It just that one moment I'm chatting with someone on messenger and the next I'm exchanging words with myself. Golly gee, what happened?

N level results

Yay, i added a new tag for special moments like these; announcements!

I collected my N level results yesterday. I was a mess, so stiff that even Jacq noticed. The clock ticked and I took a nervous glance at my watch every like five minute or so so when the results we released, I was so darn relieved not only at passing but doing superbly well. (For my PSLE, I HAD passed but I did quite atrociously :\)

The moment I got my result, Lynn called me over.

I WAS BEYOND-WORDS HAPPY :D:D:D

This might be more or less my last post here but i'm not really bothered to reveal yet so I'll just share my glee when I went shopping with my mom and little brother (imagine him just groaning away as i shopped. Torture.)

We went all over town, Orchard Road in particular, and shopped. Since christmas was coming, sales were ranging from 10%-70& off so I bought a couple of stuff like a tunic, pants, belts, shoes, body shop stuff and a Michal Negrin ring from their Love & Romance collection!

Sadly, my camera died before I could take any pictures but you should really see the fitting rooms at the ladies section of Robinsons at Centrepoint!

I managed to get some of my holiday homework done at the library and errands done. Borrowed a couple of books but have yet to start reading as here I am lazing worrying about my future. Don't worry, it's nothing big.

I realized that Singapore's iTunes stores has nothing but games ('apps'). Other than that, nada nothing zero!

And here was I hoping I could get an iTunes card to buy some stuff like songs, movies and apparently (i checked out the canadian store) audiobooks. Seriously! I would have gotten an ipod if those stuff had been available in Singapore.

I've had sudden pangs of these kind of things. I wonder why?

In the early afternoon today, just around lunch I met Joei for an 'otakku' day out. We ate some yummy yakitori but I didn't manage to finish my rice though the pickled plums did make the rice nicely sweet. After roaming around, we headed for Kinokuniya in Takashimaya where I bought the Zipper magazine. She got some things for her sister.

When I got home, I received a nice little white packaged addressed to me. I opened in eager hope to find something I had ordered and to my happiness(?), it was. Well, i gleamed with joy and started transferring everything.

Today was Seniors Farewell for those whom are graduating. I thought I'd feel okay because I know Ashleigh doesn't really like me and all but somehow at the end of the meeting, I felt really sad and this sadness would have consumed me had I not wrote it down.

I feel alright now but still a little sad so seniors...

I wish i rolled in stacks of cash but in this whole financial crisis and the recession thing, it'd be hard. It's not like I have no money but saving for the future is important too so despite wanting a million number of things, I think living on freebies and only spending a little here and there is okay.

Anyway, should i get a faux leather jacket and a deep quartz bowler bag for SGD80?

(They're real gorgeous and I can actually imagine myself wearing and using them.)

Oh never-mind. I participated in a bag pre-order about a month ago and I'll be receiving it in the coming days along with a limited edition wallet. YUMM-AYE!

This is going to be sort of a dreary post with no pictures.

Anyway, I'm quite happily typing on this mac-lappie keyboard which basically sums up what I've been doing for this past few days or so being ill with a raging headache and flu yesterday (I personally just think its just a delayed hangover.)

My room's quite dark with the curtains drawn as my windows can't close properly and my aircon is swtched on even though it's raining (I say, blame the mosquitos)!

Just before typing this post, I was actually flipping through IKEA's latest catalogue choosing some items which I intend to purchase after the meeting tomorrow to snaze up my room and also (of course) to make life easier for me since I almost always work on the floor rather than the table.

Well well, I'm off my fair gentlemen and ladies. I shall return in the following days to share my joy!

It's been a long time, hasn' it?

School's going to be out in about a week and the bridging programme to its end for this year. It'll be about two months before I receive my N levels results. Just so you know, I'm cowering in fear, no exactly shivering but definitely scared.

In between to calm my anxiety, I'll probably get a temporary job while bucking up on my studies.

Here's something unrelated and will likely to make some of you grow in envy. I'm quite dastardly evil (laughs). Well, the news is that the laptop I was intending to purchase with the certificate my parents presented me with mentioned in the previous was finally bought! And yes yes, I am really happy with my MacBook Pro as some of you have heard.

It total with the windows parallel program, it sums up to about SGD3000. Quite a hefty price, eh?

Summer sixteen

Yesterday, on the 16th of October 2008, I gloriously turned sixteen at the stroke of midnight. To be honest though, I'm not too fond of that number. I'd rather prefer to be fifteen forever.

(The number seventeen did sound nice but i don't know...)

Anyway, to start off my happy day, I began reading one of my favourite Japanese comics online while munching on a lovely curry egg sandwich. Sadly, i had to pause halfway seeing as how I was short on time to prepare to meet my friends for lunch.

I had asked a few more others to come but some had school while others were sick. It seems that the flu bug is flying around. Take care of yourselves people!

I met Lynette, Qarissa and Cassandra whom we love to adorably refer to as 'duckie'. After a few seconds of reunion, we headed off to Fishermen's Wharf where we rambled on about recent happenings and such over some delicious fish and chips.

After diminishing our lunch, we headed to liang court for some Japanese food shopping and kinokuniya to look at some books and Japanese magazines and items. On the way there actually, we stopped for Lynette to get her brain freeze (not quite the drink but the feeling) and her green tea ice cream.

As the eye can see, I'm wearing the checkered dress and vintage denim jacket!

We had spotted the actor of L, Matsuyama Ken'ichi, in this really odd film previewing at Kinokuniya called Detroit Metal City. When he danced, it looked really funny, well to me at least. The others said it was rather disturbing.

Going out with friends after so long was really wonderful and it was a memory to last.

Okay okay, off with nostalgia and now to dinner.

I had dinner with family at Swensens in Terminal 2 of the Singapore Airport. I ordered my favourite dish which was the crayfish pasta but before i could take any pictures i devoured it. Sigh... Well! There are some wonderful pictures upcoming which i think i'll be printing out soon.

It was a really nice dinner and my parents, once again, stumped me when they handed my present over. It was a A4 size white envelope and I was wondering what could possibly be in that envelope and when i opened it, this was all that was in my mind : "...".

They had given me a laptop of my choice. I could have anything laptop I wanted should in be under the condition that it was no greater than a certain amount. My godma and her sister (which is my aunt) looked at it and said my dad should have added a few more zeros.

I had a good laugh and a really (times infinity) good time!

Heating suspense

After two days of waiting in suspense, my package from Urban Outfitters has finally arrived! One of the items were out of stock but the item I wanted the most came and I'm really happy.

It was this vintage denim jacket.

While it's not identical, I am still very happy. The actual reason why it's not indentical is that each jacket is sewn from genuine vintage material and that's why it costs a bomb. A startling total of USD58.

I had purchased the jacket with two dresses and a quiz-yourself book. I saw the book preview and thought it rather amusing (laughs)

It's my birthday tomorrow and i'm thinking of wearing the black and white checkered dress for lunch and the red tube for dinner.

Anyway, as I was surfing the site's blog, I trampled upon someone caterpillar photos. Some were rather intriguing while others were just scary with their nasty looking spikes but among those, I liked one very much!

Japanese dolls

I woke up at such an ungodly hour for a holiday and dragged myself to meet Whitley for a study session looking very disheveled. The atmosphere was kind of akward at first but as time passed, i guess we began to ease in and got started studying but since my exams are over, I wasn't really concentrating and I guess I distracted her a bit. Sigh...

Other than that, I got a hoard of messages and phone calls dragging me to various places but i took one good look at my miserable wallet and tearfully rejected them all. I would have gone, had i been free.

On a lighter note, I'm quite happy because after having lunch with Whit, My grandmother and aunt came over for a visit. While we did not talk much, it was nice having them around. I was busy updating my shop pages and i am happy to say that my shop is almost ready with only one or two photos left!

Cradle my heart

Today is a rainy day. As i type and look out of the window, i see dark clouds hovering the garden. I've always liked rain and made it a point to rush back home as soon as possible so i can rest upon my comfy bed as i watch the dark sky contrasting with my bright lamp light. A homely feel~

I am munching on some onigiri(rice balls) and sushi i had bought earlier from the konbini. Quite tasty i must say. The flavour of the roasted sesame seeds from the tuna onigiri is still lingering in my mouth, YUM!

Another i just realized when i heard some mates gossiping about the free week next week, so i was thinking of getting a job. Where do you think someone would hire a high school student for a week and a half?

Timelock

Not too long ago, my friends had written a letter to me about my weaknesses and how i can change them to become a better person by learning how to move forward as an individual. I was really quite happy about that letter and touched as well.

Thanks to that letter, i think i have become more courageous and confident to be myself. I still have a little fear in me every time the thought of going, venturing somewhere without my 'pillars' of friendship, i begin to cower but i remind myself of that letter and walk with a smile on my face and my eyes glistening.

Today was a day in as there is this little break between my papers to study.

And because i stayed at home, i felt rather tired of running 'bout the house and therefore i binged! It would be gleeful if it had just been fruits but it was chocolates with hazelnut filling. Sigh, i should start exercising shouldn't i?

Oh well, at least i managed to fix up some parts of my shop and i even made two strawberry earings! They are not really fantastic but i thought i would at least give it a try. The colours have a bit of dust it them so i think i will go buy paints tomorrow!

Starting anew

I've been overflowing with a lot of emotions these past few days but i don't know what it is. It's like a mixture of want, lonliness and something unexplainable. So to calm my emotions, I took a walk in the garden. I feel better now but still it irks me so.

Also, today i started writting the first chapter to my light novel. It's still a little rusty seeing as how my vocabulary and writting skills aren't very much to standard but i thought i'd give it a try any who. It is likely that i will release the prolgue and chapter 1 on the same day that my art shop will open. How exciting!

This is actually what i wore yesterday. You can't see it but i'm wearing floral tights! (laughs) Back to my old ballerina days, i guess.
